A core part of Little Fox Hearthstead is reciprocity: caring for the land, for wildlife, and for the people and communities who shape our lives. I grew up in a family touched by disability, illness, financial strain, and loss, and we were helped by others more times than I can count. Giving back where I can is one way I honour that history and pay things forward.
This page highlights the organizations that mean the most to me. These links aren’t sponsored or affiliated. They lead directly to the organizations so you can explore, learn, or support if you feel called to, with absolutely no pressure.
✧ Canadian Organizations I Care About
Canada is home to many community-driven organizations doing meaningful work in health, wildlife conservation, social support, and advocacy. These groups have either directly shaped my life or align closely with the values of the Hearthstead: compassion, accessibility, ecological care, and resilience.
Some supported my family through medical crises. Others protect the land and animals that inspire this entire project. All of them are deeply worth knowing.
◇ Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society of Canada
MS is deeply saturated itself into my family history, and the support we received during difficult years made a real difference in our safety and stability. Their work supports families living with disability in practical, meaningful ways.

✧ Ways to Give Back (Only if you’re able)
There is never pressure to donate. You can help by sharing links, learning more, supporting local initiatives, uplifting marginalized communities, volunteering, advocating for accessibility, or offering kindness in everyday life. Reciprocity and community care matter just as much as donations.
Giving back isn’t only financial.
